Thank you for choosing Mochi POS. We are committed to providing you with a powerful POS and management tool while ensuring your business data remains private and secure. This policy explains how we handle your information.
1. Core Principles
Mochi POS is built on the principle of “Your Data, Your Control.”
- Local First: All business data (orders, inventory, transactions) is stored primarily on your device.
- No Central Server: We do not maintain a custom backend. We cannot access your business secrets, pricing, or customer lists.
- Privacy by Design: We do not track your business activities or sell any data to third parties.
2. Data Collection and Usage
2.1 Business Data
Everything you input—including product photos, inventory levels, and sales records—is saved exclusively on your local iOS/iPadOS device. We have no way to view, backup, or restore this data for you.
2.2 iCloud Synchronization
To sync your stall data across multiple devices (e.g., between your iPhone and iPad), Mochi POS uses Apple’s CloudKit (Private Database):
- Your data is encrypted and stored in your private iCloud container.
- As developers, we have zero access to your private cloud container. Only you, authenticated by your Apple ID, can access this data.
- You can disable iCloud sync for Mochi POS at any time in iOS System Settings.
2.3 Payments and Pro Membership
Mochi POS offers “Pro/Ultra” features via Apple StoreKit:
- All financial transactions are handled by Apple. We do not collect credit card numbers, real names, or billing addresses.
- We only receive an anonymous receipt from Apple to verify your subscription status.
2.4 Local Network Collaboration
When you enable Multi-Device Collaboration, the App may share same-day order information with other devices on your same Wi‑Fi / local network (via browser or another device running this App), so your team can view and manage orders together.
- This transmission happens only within your local network. It is not uploaded to our servers.
- Access requires the in-app access code (or a QR code that includes it). Do not share the access code or collaboration link with unauthorized persons.
- You can turn off this feature at any time to stop local network access.
3. System Permissions
To provide its core POS features, Mochi POS requests the following permissions:
- Camera: Used to scan barcodes or QR codes for quick product lookup.
- Face ID / Touch ID: Used for the “App Lock” feature to secure your financial data.
- Bluetooth: Used to discover and connect to ESC/POS thermal printers for receipt printing.
- Local Network: Used only when Multi-Device Collaboration is enabled, so other devices on the same Wi‑Fi can view and manage orders.
- Photo Library (Read): Used to select images for your products to be displayed on the checkout screen.
- Photo Library (Write): Used to save generated digital receipts to your device’s Photos app.
4. Third-Party Services
- No Ads & No Tracking: We do not use any third-party advertising SDKs or behavioral tracking tools (like Google Analytics).
- Hardware Interoperability: Bluetooth connectivity is used strictly for local communication with printers and does not transmit data to external servers.
- Local Network Collaboration: Local network access is used strictly for optional multi-device collaboration on your LAN and does not transmit data to our servers.
5. Security & User Rights
- Encryption: Data synced via iCloud is protected by Apple’s end-to-end encryption.
- Data Deletion: You can delete your data by removing records within the app or by uninstalling the app (which clears local data). To delete cloud data, you can manage your iCloud storage in iOS Settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the “Last Updated” date at the top will be revised accordingly. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

摆摊记账是一款以用户为中心、数据本地化的应用：
- 本地存储： 您的所有业务数据（订单、库存、流水）默认存储在您的设备上。
- 无自建服务器： 我们不维护任何后台服务器，因此无法查看您的经营状况、利润或商品信息。
- 零追踪： 我们不会监控您的经营行为，也不会将您的数据分享给任何第三方。
2. 数据收集与使用
2.1 经营数据
您在 App 中录入的所有信息（包括商品配图、库存、订单明细）均仅保存在您的 iOS/iPadOS 设备本地。作为开发者，我们无法访问或修改这些数据。
2.2 iCloud 同步
为了实现多设备间（如 iPhone 与 iPad）的数据同步，应用使用了 Apple 的 CloudKit 私有数据库：
- 数据通过您的 Apple ID 加密存储在您的私有 iCloud 空间内。
- 开发者无法从后台访问您的私有容器。数据的所有权与访问权完全属于您。
- 您可以随时在系统设置中关闭本应用的 iCloud 同步功能。
2.3 订阅与支付
应用提供 Pro/Ultra 等订阅服务，所有支付流程通过 Apple App Store 完成：
- 我们不会获取您的支付方式、真实姓名或联系电话。
- 我们仅接收 Apple 提供的匿名交易收据，用于激活高级功能。
2.4 局域网多人协作
当您开启多人协作功能时，应用可能在同一 Wi‑Fi / 局域网内，向其他设备（浏览器或其他安装本应用的设备）共享当日订单信息，以便团队共同查看和处理订单。
- 相关传输仅发生在您的局域网内，不会上传至我们的服务器。
- 访问需使用应用内访问码（或扫码自动带入）。请勿将访问码或协作链接分享给无关人员。
- 您可随时关闭该功能，以停止局域网访问。
3. 系统权限说明
为了实现收银和硬件交互，应用会申请以下权限：
- 相机权限： 用于扫描商品条码或二维码，实现快速结账。
- 面容 ID (Face ID) 权限： 用于应用锁功能，保护您的经营隐私。
- 蓝牙权限： 用于连接蓝牙热敏小票打印机（ESC/POS）。
- 本地网络权限： 仅在开启「多人协作」时使用，以便同一 Wi‑Fi 下的其他设备查看和处理订单。
- 相册访问权限： 用于为商品挑选配图。
- 相册写入权限： 用于将生成的电子小票保存至您的手机相册。
4. 第三方服务与插件
- 纯净无广告： 我们不集成任何第三方广告 SDK。
- 无行为追踪： 我们不使用任何第三方分析工具来追踪您的应用内点击或经营行为。
- 局域网协作： 本地网络权限仅用于可选的多人协作，不会将数据传输至我们的服务器。
